GENERAL INFORMATION

Admire is a small and peaceful farming community located in northeastern Lyon County, Kansas. The city was founded in 1886 along the Missouri Pacific Railroad and incorporated in 1916 as a city of the 3rd class.

Fall Festival - 2011 and Admire's 125th Celebration

Thank you to everyone in the community for your hard work and participation in this successful event. Admire Quasquicentennial Books are still available. Contact LeRoy Boline at "boline.farms@satelephone.com" if interested. Each book comes with a CD containing all of the material in the book PLUS additional pictures and information. The book price is $20.00 with a portion of the proceeds going to support the North Lyon County Museum. An individual CD may be purchased for $10.00.
